The Benefits of Using HYGROBEN™ and HYGROZYME® Together

What is HYGROBEN™?

HYGROBEN™ is a microbial root inoculant composed of five different bacillus species that are shown to be physiologically compatible with each other and work together to enhance yield in a variety of crops. The Bacillus species present in HYGROBEN™ are Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus megaterium. These Bacillus spp. are known to enhance plant growth and yield by colonizing the roots and increasing nutrient availability to plants through direct mechanisms such as nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilization, and siderophore production.

What is HYGROZYME®?

HYGROZYME® is Sipco’s original product, which is a biological enzyme-based formulation targeted for root rot prevention. Hygrozyme® contains an enzyme called Cellulase that works specifically to break down the Cellulose, the main component in dead root matter. HYGROZYME® also contains a proprietary formula that feeds beneficial microbes, such as those present in HYGROBEN™, resulting in supercharging the root zone for even higher yield potential when used together.

Why should I use HYGROZYME® and HYGROBEN™ Together?

Through third party laboratory testing, it was found that supplementing HYGROZYME® with HYGROBEN™ has very synergistic effects that can result in increased stem diameter, dry flower yield, terpene profile and cannabinoid content in Cannabis plants as well as other crops. The results on using both products together are truly impressive compared to industry standards of other products and speak for themselves; these results show that the benefits of using Hygrozyme and Hygroben are even better than using either product on its own.

The below chart taken from the third-party laboratory testing results shows the tangible benefits of using HYGROZYME® along with HYGROBEN™. The second set of charts show the benefits of using HYGROZYME® and HYGROBEN™ together to increase terpene content overall, as well as a few specific terpenes that were tested. As you can see from the charts below, there is a significant increase in terpene profiles when using both products together.
